Mr. Wiand has over forty years of legal experience as both a regulator and private attorney. His experience includes over thirteen years with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Division of Enforcement where, as a senior member of the Division’s staff in Washington, DC, he prosecuted and directed major SEC enforcement actions throughout the country.
In 1984, he left the SEC and joined one of Florida’s largest law firms where he developed and led a financial services practice group that gained nationwide recognition. In 2009, he co-founded Wiand Guerra King, PA, a firm focused on securities litigation and regulatory matters and complex commercial litigation. In its ten years the firm gained a national reputation in handling these matters and receiverships.
